What are the typical read/write speeds of a top quality SDXC card in the slot of a current iMac, compared to the read/write speeds of, say, a Fusion Drive, a straight SSD, and the 1 terabyte hard drive apple uses these days in those desktop machines?

Thanks!

The SDXC is much slower, especially when copying and reading many small files. The SDXC is great for storing music, video and documents though. However, a decent USB3 memory stick is quite a bit faster than SDXC too.

Thanks. I had a feeling it was slower. Strange that Apple put the SDXC on the back of the iMac, where it can be a pain in the butt to get to quickly and easily.
