Hi,

Apple makes a terrible job in their website to compare versions of the Apple Watch. They have this terrible PDF with the characteristics of each model, instead of the comparison table they have for Macs and iPhones.

Does anyone know where I can find a link to review them? I'm considering gifting an Apple Watch to my mum (and maybe upgrading my Series 6), but I want to check what do I really win/lose with each new series, as minimal as it can be,

I also wish Apple made the comparison tools more in line with what they offer for iPads and iPhones but the reality is that the changes between the generations are soo emberasingly small, that such tool would probably have more of a negative impact then positive. At this way, by not offering it, Apple can hide and hope that people don't pick up on those subtle improvements. Personally, I feel like going from Series 4 to 9 is less of an upgrade than going just one generation on iPhones - like from instance 14 to 15. That is why I still continue to use Series 4 and not planning to upgrade until the watch is no longer supported.

Don't bother, they're all the same from S0 to S9, according to the forum

Or you could just open each one in a separate browser tab to compare. Or check the Apple Watch page on Wikipedia. Or Google would also have a bunch of comparisons. Literally google "compare Apple Watch 6, 7, 8, 9" and you'll probably find that the first or second link will do the trick.

This won't list upgrades side-by-side, but if you look at DC Rainmaker's reviews he has a section at the beginning of each review that lists what's new for each series.

As somebody pointed out in a similar thread, the gsmarena web site has a comparison tool that does side by side comparisons of up to three apple watches.
