Forgive me if this is the wrong spot to post this.

I was wondering if there was any information regarding comparisons with my current iMac (mid 2011, 21.5" 2.5 i5, 4 GB ram) to the current MacBooks and Macbook Pros? I know the 2016 pros have yet to be announced, but how much of a step down is there from desktop to laptop in terms of speed and processing?
