I recently purchased two pny optima memory cards for my sanyo xacti. They were good in that they held an hour of hd video...the only problem is that my mac wont recognie them. So is there anyway to make them compatable or should I get different cards (and if so what brands are compatable?)?

Is it possible the problem is that the Xacti's recording format isn't recognised, not a problem with the cards themselves? According to Apple (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1014#2) no Sanyo camcorder is supported by iMovie, for example.

ive recorded a video on a smaller sized sandisk card and it loads up fine tho...i have a card reader built into my dell display should i try a usb card reader?
