Compatibility between Android ver of Office 365 and Mac Office

Hello, I use the Mac version of Office most of the time. Has anybody been using the Android version of Office 365? How is the compatibility of Word, PowerPoint and Excel between Android and Mac? Can you edit files back and forth between the two platforms without any issue?

If its anything like the iPad version you can. I'm going to guess its like the iPad which is a port of their online versions of the Office.
