Compatibility between Mini M1 and ASUS PA278cv

Hi,
I'm thinking of changing my 27" late 2013 imac for a Mac mini M1, this is for general use, mail, internet, pages and keynote but also for some photo editing, very much an amateur ! I've heard a lot of good things about the PA278CV from ASUS but also read that there are a lot of compatibility problems with the mini M1 and various displays. Has anyone got first hand experience with this combination and can confirm that it all works together ? Many thanks for any advice you may be able to give me.

For what it's worth I have a PA27AC and have had no problems at all with it.

And looking at comparisons it seems it is pretty similar to the PA278CV.

EDIT//: Must be noted that I have it connected to my M1 with TB3, I have not tried with HDMI so I can only vouch for having it connected via TB3 (a feature that the PA278CV seem to lack).
