Hi there,

I have to change the topcase of my mid 2010 Macbook pro 15" unibody.
I can put the hands on a very nice 2009 version for almost nothing, is it possible to use it to replace mine ?

The part numbers are different for the top cases in these two models, which suggests that there are significant differences in the locations of screws etc.

So, unfortunately, it is most likely a 'no'.

Hi,

just to let you know that a case 2009 can be used on a 2010 Macbook pro 15".
There are some small differences but it can be done quite easily....
So with 25€ for a new 2009 topcase i have saved my mid 2010 :)

Good for you
