Compatible batteries for 2012 13" MBA

Good evening
I have a question regarding compatible batteries for MacBook Air 5,2 (13 in mid-2012). This model came with a 6700 mAh battery, while the 2013 model came with a 7150 mAh battery.

Some stores, such as iFixit sells one battery model for all Macbook Airs from 2010-2017 (https://eustore.ifixit.com/products/macbook-air-13-late-2010-2017-replacement-battery).
Others, such as Pcbatterier.no has one battery for 2011-2012 models (6700mAh) (https://www.pcbatterier.no/apple-1/...versjoner-macbookair4-2-og-macbookair5-2.html), and one battery for 2013-2017 (7150 mAh) (https://www.pcbatterier.no/apple-1/...acbook-air-13-2013-versjon-macbookair6-2.html).

Is it fair to assume that the larger 7150mAh battery from Pcbatterier will also work in a 2012 MacBook Air even though it states its only compatible with 2013-2017 Macbook Airs? This is my assumption, due to the fact that iFixit sells one battery for all models, and also I've heard that the original batteries can be swapped between different MBAs without issues.

Since these are built-in batteries and space is so limited inside the MBA you cannot upgrade to a higher capacity (larger) battery. Apple also likes to change up the terminal placement so that might be an issue too.
