Compatible Expresscard 802.11.g

My airport keeps dropping out. I ether have a bad card or the antenna, id like to just use an expresscard instead of taking the whole thing apart, and I do not need a wireless N card. I have

It's really not a bad job to take it apart to replace the Airport card.

I wouldn't want to use 3rd party wireless stuff on a Mac just because it's nice to have the Airport all integrated and working properly. I wouldn't want to introduce any compatibility issues.

I'm in the same boat except I need a USB solution. My living arrangement makes it impossible for me to run Cat5 from the router so its all wifi. When I have the lid up it works great but as soon as I run in clamshell mode I get zero bars guaranteed.
