T Takashi macrumors regular Oct 26, 2009 203 0 Nov 7, 2009 #3 As of today you should be able to fit 500 GB to 650 GB SATA notebook HD into your MBP. Make sure, however, that the height of the HD is approx. 9.5mm and not 12mm. If I am correct I believe the 1T SATA notebook HD is 12mm.
