So im looking at replacing a logicboard on my water damaged macbook pro but im not seeing any for my model (Mid-2009 13.3 2.26 model) in a reasonable proce range at least

So my question is can i use any other unibody 13.3 logic boards to replace my faulty one or do i need to use the one made for my model?

Don't think you can. The logic boards have the same layouts, but iirc, the position of the mounting points are different so you can't mount a different logic board.
