Compatible Smart TV w/ Apple TV?

I need to replace a broken plasma, and am thinking it makes sense to get an internet capable TV. I have heard the LG's don't work w/ Apple TV, what tv can I get with online access, that is still compatable w/ Apple TV?

Also, Can I run ethernet from my airport express to TV? looks like there is a port back there to go to another device?

lastly, what is the best remote/keyboard for browing on a TV?

the ATV essentially is making the HDTV a smart TV i would save some money and just a "dumb" TV with specs you like

Also OP, any TV with HDMI is theoretically compatible with ATV. Don't know why you think an LG wouldn't be?

I believe its a software issue, doesn't read ATV...I think its since they want everyone on the LG Smart TV system.

I know its been said a milion times, but why doesnt ATV have browsing capabilities?
