So I could’ve resurrected a few 2 year old threads, or started this one. Hopefully I choose right.

I for the first time shared my activity level on the watch with a friend, and started a 7 day competition with them. I was already behind when I sent the invite, they’re move ring was to about 800 and mine under 400, so I took a walk my mine landed at about 525 for the day.
I was disappointed to read that they cap the points earned at 600, so essentially her 800 points stopped at 600, and if I squeaked out another 75 points before bed we would’ve been counted equal. And if they manage to get over 600 everyday (maybe not but) I won’t be able to catch up even if I’ve push extra hard other days.

Is there a way to uncap this? Probably not since it’s in writing but this seems a little crazy! At least make it a tough thing to to such as 1000 points.

In the end it's Apple's decision but I think it's a good idea for two reasons:

1) It promotes regular, appropriate workout. You could do a marathon one day and take 4,000 points or whatever and then your competitor has no chance - this spreads it out.
2) You get a sparkly screen with a badge on it when you get to 600

Now that I’m in the competition I see the the points are given out differently than I thought, not sure how exactly.. but it works better than I thought it was going to so, I’m happy!
