iPod Compiling many songs to 1 album

I added all songs from a disk called "house M.D, soundtrack", but every song got a separated artwork. so i choosed all songs of that disc, and marked "part of a compilation", it didn't help, so i gave all the songs the same "album artist" name.

But now i got this ugly name twice instead of the artist

Any help very much appreciated.

What do you want to give? Give all of the tracks the same artwork?

If so, do File > Get Info, go to the artwork tab, delete any covers you don't want and copy-paste the right one in.

The best advice I can think of is marking all the songs as a compilation, or if you already tried that, unmarking the songs and then remarking them.

Changing the 'album artist' to 'Various Artists' would be the correct way, but if you want every song to have it's own artist while in cover flow, you will get the same album listed loads of times. The first option is much better.
