Can someone explain compiz/beryl to someone who is fascinated by it and if its possible to implement on OS X currently or is this something we can see in the near future? I am sorry if my question doesn't make sense :) Thanks.

Just grab a recent version of any Linux LiveCD; most of them will have Compiz/Beryl on. Its neat eye candy, but doesn't offer much more in terms of productivity than you already get on OSX. YouTube has a lot of videos for you to see more.

Hopefully we don't see it anytime soon. It provides little to no benefit other than eye candy. I would rather Apple spend R&D towards something useful.
