Is it possible to install compiz onto the mac os?.
Also what is x11? Can you run kde ?

I don't know why you'd want to run KDE on Mac OS X, but... since, as far as I know, KDE and all its dependencies DO compile, install, and run on Mac OS X, you can do it. As for Compiz, that requires that Gnome be installed first... since it doesn't work inside of KDE. In any case, once you get these things installed they'll only affect X11-based applications. X11 is a client/server modeled window system for Unix and Unix-like systems.

compiz now doesnt requrie gnome.

But unfortunately , i never see anyone got it work on OSX.

There are ways to run KDE on OSX, but I found them to be difficult, ancient, and not appealing.
