We are having a problem with a touchpad in a new MacBook Pro (Mac OS X 10.6.2 (10C540). The location is Moscow, Russian Federation. When applying to MacBook service Center (http://www.maccentre.ru/) we were told we would have to wait for a spare part from a supplier for up to six months, which is unacceptable. Moreover, all Apple's service centers in Moscow cooperate with only one supplier so the problem cannot be fixed by placing the order with another support center.
