Complete .ipsw file?

So I started downloading the GM file and it said it was going to take 16 hours to complete. I don't know why so long, but anyway. I had to leave to school so I paused the file download (which was about 3/4ths done). Here at school I had a few hours to kill so I resumed the file download to see if it would be quicker here. Now when I resumed the file it immediately said it was finished. Now I'm skeptical that it actually is the complete file and I don't want to use it on my phone. Should I just try downloading it again or can I some how view and see if the file is all there?
