Got a friends 2012 13" MBA that has a pretty weird issue.
No matter what, the system will not boot. No chime, no display, no fan spin. MagSafe stays orange even with the battery disconnected. Even with SMC resets I still cannot get it to start at all. I tried jumping the power pads to no avail, is the LB really dead? It was working fine until he closed the display and tried waking it up hours later. No water damage that I can see.
Any tips?
