I use the GNResound Smart 3D app to control my hearing aids, and it provides a WatchOS version of the app that can be used as a complication in a watch face. The complication icon is the shape of an over-the-ear hearing aid. I've set this up and it works when pressed but the icon itself is only visible during periods of the display being in Always On state. When I raise my wrist or do anything to return the display to normal, the complication icon disappears, although if you press the location the app will run.

Yeah I got this problem with cellular complication. Nothing when inactive then show when screen lit up.
I thought it’s a new design lol..

Try this. Remove that complication from the face then uninstall the app, reboot the Watch, install the app, launch it, go back to watch face and then add that complication again. If that doesnt help then its the app problem and you would need to report it to developer responsible.

The reason you seeing that icon in AON mode is likely bc its a placeholder eg app icon being used but the app fails to provide real complication template or the one it provides is broken somehow.

Thanks. Just tried that, does the same thing. I have reported it to the Resound Apps Customer Support.
