After a hectic, busy day, I finally got the chance to update to iOS 4.2. After installing iTunes 10.1 (which I should have done way before today), the iOS downloaded, and began extracting. But, just as it went to the Sync in Progress screen, I was greeted with an error message saying it was unable to go through with the update. This has happened twice, now.

I'm on my third try, so I'll keep whoever is reading updated. I do understand there are thousands trying to download at the moment, but the error says it's my connection.

UPDATE: After a third attempt, the iPhone 4 is successfully updating. The error messages, in more detail, were not letting me backup my phone. It looks as if that was resolved.
