Hi, I would like to attach my LCD flatscreen to my Macbook. I already use composite cable, but this will only go up to a resolution of 1024x768. I would need something that can scale up to WXGA (1366×768) so I can get a native resolution. I only have SCART, S-video and Component (Y C/Pb C/Pr). I read that component was the only connector capable of carrying HD (720).

My question is: what would be the easiest (and if possible cheap) way of connecting the mini-DVI output to a component input. I already have mini-DVI to VGA, Composite and S-Video
