On mavericks where do they keep the components so that streaming other media formats are allowed? for instance avi flac mkv files for perian on past os's. But on mavericks I have a component for flac that I wish to try. I have followed the instruction to put it in components folder from Library. But it does nothing to load flac. I know Apple doesn't support this but I have the file which 3rd party developers made work in past os. It's just i'm unsure if they relocate the proper place for safari to have it load flac. Can someone guide me? I also do not want to download or convert flac. I just want to stream it on safari.
