Is it possible to compose mail from a seperate address in Mail? I have one account forwarding to my Gmail account, but I'd like to have it default to when I'm creating mail to send from the forwarded address.

Thanks for the help.

If I understand what you're saying, then yes there is a way. If you have both accounts setup in Mail, then in your preferences under Composing you can set the default email.

You compose in the Mail application, not in any particular account. At your whim, you may choose to send from any account that you have setup in Mail. Mail defaults to the receiving address. However, you may set the default address for new messages with Account: > Customize ... popup menu selection at the bottom of the headers in the composition window.
