hi. i am an xbox 360 player, and a mac user. i currently have an imac set up alongside a dell 19" monitor that is hooked up to my 360 via a componenet > vga adapter.

after giving up on my cheap search for HD input via component cables, into the mac, i have now "settled" for standard definition.
however, products such as eyetv, miglia and other tv tuners, even with hardware encoding off, do allow a short latency, which is unacceptable for online play, what i'm after.

i just want an easy, preferably cheap, way of maximising my workspace, and getting rid of this crappy extra monitor.

i was also wondering if such a wonder cable could allow me to connect my xbox 360's composite connectors to the mac's usb or firewire ports with no lag, is there any software that i could use to view the feed, without having the only option be to capture the feed? (basically software that could act as a virtual display for my xbox)

the key issue for me is lag. connecting cables to adapters is obviously going to increase the latency, and so will an adapter or box sufficiently affect the gameplay? and do you guys have any products that spring to mind?

thanks again, tom
