At the moment I'm not sure what to get, it basically a choice out Autodesk's Combustion, Apple Motion or Apple Shake.

So far there's are my thoughts:
Combustion - I am trained in this and have a copy of Combustion 3, but not sure when version 5 will be release for Mac OSX.
Motion - Will Apple sell it seperate from FCS2? because I dont want to spend more than AU$1,000. Plus I wont use any of the other FCS2 applications
Shake 4 - It is cheaper but I would it be foolish to buy a product that Apple isn't developing anymore? But it also has the feature that I need and probably would use in the not too distant future.

Any ideas people? :apple:

I'd get Shake because a) it'd be a standalone purchase, b) it's not yet obsolete, c) it's got what you're looking for in an application. It's still current, and if it's no longer being developed, then when you do finally outgrow it, no doubt there'll be a crossgrade path for existing Shake users.

Good luck.
