In the past, I have frequently used Photoshop CS to make Compress PDF's to send via mail. The PDF's had to be under 150 KBs. Using Print - PDF - Compress PDF has worked great... until I upgraded to Leopard. The first thing I did after installing Leopard, was install the download which makes the option, "Compress PDF" appear in the print options.
When I try to do a Compress PDF, I get "Could not print (document) because of program error". This is exactly what I would do previously, getting great results. I think it may have something to do with Photoshop CS, because I can do a Compress PDF in Preview, but the result is so poor. I have also tried in Preview, Save As - PDF - Quart Filter - Reduce File Size. That is just as poor.
I would like to continue to be able to Compress PDF's in Photoshop CS, because the Page Setup allows you to determine your print borders, resulting in edge to edge graphics that are relatively crisp. I'd appreciate some help. Thank You.
