Compress Quicktime Help

Hi,

I have a rather large (nearly 700MB) which I took on my digital camera. I would like to compress this into a size that I can easily post on the internet. Does anyone know if this is easily possible with some freeware and also what sort of loss of quality I am likely to get?

Import Your Video to iMovie
Make sure its in the Timeline
Click Share than to Quicktime
Than in the drop down menu choose Web or email or choose iPod for an mp4 video that is not bad quality.

Thanks, I will have a play later, I may have finally have a use for iMovie!
