Hi all,
I would be very happy if any of video proffesional people here could recommend me about compressing DVCPRO50.
I'm doing a project with FC wich finally will be burned as a DVD. Just need some advices for exporting the movie.
What you would do? Compress/Export movie using FC and making a MOV with the current settings (resoult a mov file with DVCPRO50 format).
Or compress/export with COMPRESSOR... (I Would need help with this... I'd follow your instructions)

Thanks in advance,

You can do it either way. Export directly to Compressor from FCP, pick an appropriate preset for DVD-Video (and make adjustments if needed).

Or, export a self-contained or reference movie from FCP, then use the resulting file in Compressor.

Ok, but in terms of quality, which one offers more? It's the same do it with one or the other? there must be any difference, or not?

Thanks
