Hello people, so I recently just started uploading videos to YouTube. The thing is my 5 minute videos literally take 2-3 hours to upload. I heard people mention videos compression. I was not sure on how to do that. May someone please help me? I upload video-game gameplay with my voice over. I upload them in 720p HD. I heard that compressing affects your quality, but i also heard there are compressors that do not hurt your quality. I will appreciate any help. Thanks for reading.

You can try Hand brake http://handbrake.fr/
It is fairly simple to use and has some presets so you don't have to fiddle with a lot of settings.
