I have a video with FCE chapters that I want to compress (via Quicktime Pro), but I want to keep the chapters so as to have them when I put it into iDVD. Is there any way to do this?

Also, the reason why I want to compress it is not because of the file size, but because for some reason videos exported from FCE look bad in Quicktime and other applications (except FCE, where it looks great) unless it's compressed. Does this sound odd?

So, really, if compressing and keeping chapters isn't an option, is there a way to make the video LOOK better, chapters and all?

Okay, so now I've tried 'creating a chapter list' in Quicktime, after compressing the video. However, once I add the text file to the movie file, any chapter maker I click just goes to the assigned place in the text file part of the movie, which is blank, while the rest of the movie sits in the front, apparently oblivious of the chapter markers... What do I do??
