Hi, I have some questions about the iMovie/Final Cut compression method. Currently I have a MacPro 2x2,8GHz with 6GB of RAM and the default 320GB HD.
When I start compressing or renderizing a movie with iMovie or Final Cut, this process take a lot of time, but only 10/15% of the total CPU capacity is working, and the HD is practically stopped... I think that can be possible obtain more performance with my current computer, I must configure something, when the computer is compressing a movie I don't need to work with it, then, if my mouse is locked because my computer is working at full capacity I will be happy :)

Thanks!
