Compressor 4 - DVD to H.264

I have several unencrypted DVD's on a hard drive (previously ripped to VOBS in Video_TS format) I'd like to convert to H.264 for use in my iDevices. I know that Handbrake can do this, but I was hoping to take advantage of my several macs and use Compressor 4 and it's distributed/cluster processing. Anyone know if I can use Compressor 4 to do this? I would rather not spent $50 bucks only to find out it can't import DVD's.
