Compressor Flicker Issues

I have 9 - 90 minute videos that I have exported from Final Cut Pro using compressor. For all of them I used the setting 90 min dvd best quality. Each of the videos has random flickers when there is a cut. Its very sporadic, some dvds it happens 1 time, others 10-20. I went back and looked at the original file and there are no flickers, only in the compressed file. What can I do to prevent this?
