Hi, I"m a sound designer and just started using compressor to code my final mixes in Dolby 2.0.
I've compressed my mix and decided to drag it into Final Cut Pro just to make sure it was working before i sent it to the editor and to my surprise, when i line it up with my raw mix from Pro Tools, its about a quarter of a frame behind. I tried messing with the frame control in the inspector and just can't get it to sync. and yes, i've tried coding with the frame control off and still get the same result.
About my mix:
I use pro tools for all of my editing and mixing. I recorded the mix as usual and dragged it into soundtrack pro to master. Then from there, take the final mix into compressor and code in 2.0 Dolby Digital audio at 192kbps.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
I've included a screen cap:
