Hi,

I've been using Compressor 4 since it first came out and have been successfully producing 720p and 1080p files (using the Apple TV presets) that include 5.1 (AC-3). However, recently - and I'm not sure when this started happening - the files that it's producing are only in stereo.

I've turned on the "Include Dolby 5.1" option and I don't get any errors, but the resulting file only has the stereo AAC track. I've checked the release notes for the past couple of updates adn don't see anything that could be causing this. It's so hard to troubleshoot when I don't get an error!

I don't have Perian enabled (it's historically a source of problems when producing 5.1) and the only other QuickTime component that I have installed is the Telestream/Microsoft WMV component because I'm using VC-1 source files.

Google isn't proving helpful; it doesn't help that "Compressor" is such a generic name. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks :)
