What is the employee pricing on Macs? Since CompUSA has a special sale today and tomorrow on Desktops and Notebooks I was just wondering what the pricing is.

Thanks.

I don't know for all Mac's but the Dual 2.7 GHz G5 is around $2,600. I might stop over and buy one but I might wait for the newer model.

Yes.

We're giving you the same discount our own employees get on
notebook and desktop computers. Now is the perfect time to
upgrade to the machines you've been wanting for months.

In-Store Only. Find a CompUSA Store near you!

Ok back from CompUSA this is what I found.

The 12" iBook w/ Combo is $929 (that is below EDU discount).
However the 14" iBook w/Combo was $1249.

is the employee disc price good on customized ibooks too (e.g. bluetooth, increased ram or larger hard drive)?

I don't know. Does CompUSA offer those options? I didn't see
any mention of it at the store.

mac mini???

how about the employee discount on the mac mini???? how low does it go? basically wat im sayin is how cheap can i get a mac with this employee discount at compusa? thanks

I went today and looked at the 15" SD 1.67ghz for $2045 which is about $50 cheaper than EDU discount. The 12" powerbooks were only like $50 off regular pricing. Not sure why the 15" SD was so much cheaper.

I think it was $20 off the Mac Mini so $479 and $579 depending on which model.
