With the release of the HomePod Mini it has me wondering if Apple would ever consider integrating computational audio into iOS?
I've pre-ordered several HomePod Minis and am eager to see how they stack up against my Google Nest Mini. The Nest Mini is so-so in terms of audio and I do not believe that it has any type of computational audio, at least not that I'm aware of. If anyone knows differently, I'd welcome the source where I can learn more.
I'm not one of those guys who wants to get all fiddly with an equalizer, and while I know that there's one in iOS, I'm not happy with some of the pre-selects.
I'd prefer Apple incorporate something that would constantly refine the sound, be it hardware or software-based.
