I turned on my MacBook Pro this morning, and it started in Safe Boot, something I had never heard of before. I did not intentionally tell it to. The only thing that I can think of that might've caused this last session is that I downloaded a software called iSkysoft Data Recovery when I had overwritten a file that I didn't mean to overwrite and needed. I ended up not using the software to retrieve the file, but I did press a few buttons in the program.

I haven't tried to get my computer out of Safe Boot yet. I am wondering if there is some reason I shouldn't do that immediately, like if going into Safe Boot was some protective measure that my computer took against harmful software. I'd appreciate any insights.
