I hope this is the right place to post this...

This is my dilemma. I need to improve the ergonomics of my home workspace. Instead of slapping my MBP and Dell laptops up on the dinner table (which drives the wife nuts), I plan to setup a a better working office space.

For my MBP I'm going to get a 23" Apple Cinema Display (or comparable if refreshed by the time I buy), a new Apple keyboard, and a desk. The desk is the question.

I want a one that is less than $750 or so (but could go higher if worthwhile) and it has to accommodate the following:

17" MBP
23" ACD and keyboard
17" Dell Precision M90
Airport Extreme N
2 USB HP printers
external hard drive for AEX

It also has to have some drawers so I don't have clutter in the open, maybe even a hutch for books (but not a requirement). The shape is the issue. I don't want a square desk, but rather something that kind of wraps around me (ideally sort of a coffee bean shape) so that I can have the keyboard and ACD in the middle, and each of the laptops to the sides. IOW, I want to be able to just swivel about slightly to work on the Dell laptop. I will use the external keyboard and ACD for just the MBP. I don't want to use a KVM switch.

Finally, I want something that looks reasonably nice. It will be in a first floor room that sees some traffic (for the bathroom) so it should have high WAF. We tend more towards modern classic design (like modern American and Italian -- think Eames chair and Naguchi table). This is the ideal, but I am flexible from that point.

Searches for desks on the internet are a bit overwhelming, so I'm wondering if anyone has a similar arrangement they really like.
