On The Nickel, over there....
Hi all,
I'm not much of a gamer. But Solitaire and Chess are getting old.
I have an Apple computer. Semi-mindless timekillers are great. Applied geometry is good. No role playing crap. I always liked Breakout and Centipede, so paddles and/or guns would be cool. I saw this one, Colibricks, and it might do the trick.
http://www.colibricks.com/

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked out Angry Birds and it didn't look like something I'd go for, so I went with Colibricks. Glad I did. I'd recommend that game to anyone who likes Breakout. I'll get my $5 worth out of it.

I'm gonna pump Hoard again, on Steam. 10 minute games, burn the crap out of stuff and score points. :p

edit: though i should add it's not out until april 4 or something like that

If you like shooters, check out Cube 2: Sauerbraten and Urban Terror. Both are free and can be played on a huge number of platforms, including OS X.

There are a ton of threads with the same question. Try using Mroogle (see my sig) to do a search on what other people have said.

Same here...can't understand why it's so popular.

it's that popular when I was on my mac during the lecture and while the lecturer was walking upstairs I always put the show desktop. Yesterday he asked if I played angry birds.... wtf
