How do you install/play computer games on Mac OS X? I put the disk in and it comes up with a folder of different stuff and i don't know what to click on or how to get computer games to work so any help w0uld really be nice.

First off, what is the game? What does the box say about the supported OS's?

Sounds to me like you have a PC game, and not a game which is Macintosh supported. But, i could be wrong.

The box says it is for windows only. But can't i somehow play this game on my mac or do they make mac versions of it? The game is John Deere American Farmer.

I heard some people got windows XP to run on macs. Should i just do this?

The only way you could do this is if you buy Microsoft's Virtual PC, or if you have a new Intel Mac, you could try installing XP on it, but i would not recommend it.

Virtual PC would be your best option if you really wanted to put XP on your Mac.
