Hey all,

I have a mid 2010 MBP. I attempted to install the latest software update, and now when it tries to install, I get an update failed message. Then when I try to restart to power on/off, it goes through the same setup and tries to reinstall with the same message. It then tells me to hold down the letter "D" to see the diagnostics menu. I tried that, and it gave me Apple support's website.

Any ideas? I just want to get back into the main OS.

Thanks!

sorry if i misunderstand, but i thought macOS Mojave would not be able to be installed on a 2010 MacBook Pro machine.
which operating system are you trying to install on that machine?
