Where can I sell my computer for parts. I have an old white MacBook. It only works when it is plugged in, but I was curious if I could get anything for the parts?

You can probably get a new battery for it. I recently bought a battery for a 10 year old iBook from OWC. That's all it needed. Those old Macs don't quit.

Sell it on craigslist or ebay. I see macs without batteries often. On the other hand, if it's still good enough for you use, buy a new battery from a third party.

If the computer still works why not get a new battery as mentioned above and sell it for more.
The only reason people usually sell for parts is if the motherboard(logicboard) is dead or the screen ruined. I've never seen a laptop in that state sell for more than 50$.
