Starting a couple of weeks ago I noticed that whenever my rev A MBA 64gig SSD is hooked up to a projector and I attempt to show a slideshow my computer screen turns to snow and my slides are unreadable on my screen. It projects and runs fine and the audience can follow the presentation off the display screen OK, it's my computer screen that is unreadable. This is true in both Powerpoint and Keynote and has occurred with two different projectors. My computer otherwise functions completely flawlessly. I have never experienced this before.

There's a thread on the Apple support site where it seems the problem may be in the latest versions of Snow Leopard.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it unique to the MBA or a pan-Mac issue? I'm surprised no one has brought this up until now (I did a search). I can do a workaround in PPT by going to View->Presenter Tools but have found no workaround for Keynote, my preferred presentation software.

Added: I should add that this only happens in slideshow mode in PPT and play mode in Keynote, otherwise the computer display is fine when hooked up to the projector.
