The old beast is showing its age. Bluetooth and front USB are randomly going dead on me (had to switch to my wired keyboard just to make this post as it kept dropping my Magic Keyboard).
It's also starting this thing where it'll wake from sleep, and my monitor (LED Cinema Display) will come on but the screen stays black and I can't get a video signal without pulling the power cord and restarting.
Also occasionally, RefindPlus won't load my boot drives. It'll just come up with a blank screen with the Apple up top and the Mac Pro image at the bottom and nothing else. Have to reset SMC once to get it back.
A Mac Mini has been on my mind for a while now but it's starting to get more and more pressing. Problem is, now I have to wait for the M3 version... Or maybe try to save a buck on an M1.
Kind of conflicted on what to do here.
Do any of these issues sound easily fixable or should I just bite the bullet, thank this incredible machine for the three years I got out of it, and move on?
