I've got a couple of notebooks at home; 13" Macbook Pro with VGA adapter running both Mac OS X 10.6.2 & Windows 7 in boot camp as well as a Dell Insprion 1400 running Windows 7.
I bought this cable to connect the laptops to the TV.
However, I have no idea how to output 1080i from either of the laptops in either of the operating systems. Can someone please help me determine the correct resolution settings to get this connection working? How can this be determined? I have not been able to find any information online.
The rear of the TV [for "DTV" RGBHV] says it accepts 480i/480p/1080i & right now I'm not even able to make an image appear on the TV when I connect the cable.
