hi everyone, i have been an apple freak for years and been able to do basically anything. but this completely goes beyond my knowledge... heres my story... i bought a iphone 2g from my cousin for 20$ that he had jailbroken with jailbreakme.com well he restored it before giving it to me and since then it will not boot... before he restored everything went great. but now my computer wont recognize it nor will itunes and when i plug it in i do not get a "debum" sound on the computer. is this fixable or do i have a 20$ paper weight?

windows vista.
iphone 2g 3.1.3

and ive tried multiple other ipods and such and computer recognizes them as well as tried other computers ports and cords

thanks!
