iPhone Computer won't recognize jailbroken 4s

I haven't installed anything new but did recently update a few cydia apps. However I have lost the ability to connect my phone to the computer. It's not working for any computer so I'm thinking it must be the phone. Also I have tried multiple cords. Tweaks I have installed include sbs settings, springtomize, cydelete, winterboard and some other common apps. Any thoughts on what may be causing this issue? Charges with the wall charger just fine.

Are all your apps legal ?
A common cause of this is trying to get paid apps for free

You should reboot the computer and phone

Whenever I have this issue it is either the USB port (try a different one) or my Firewall resets after a while and blocks the connection to my Phone. Or you can always try a reboot, although I would think that is the first thing anyone tries.
 
All my apps are legal - I have tried 3 computers now whcih makes me think it's the phone. The only thing i've downloaded since sunday (the last time it worked and I was editing my theme with ifunbox) was BigU movies. I have since removed it and it still isn't working.

Also - I determined it's not a hardware issue by putting the phone into restore mode and then the computer recognized it. Unfortunately, this may make it difficult to get my pictures off my phone or charge my phone at work w/ just the cable.

I'm certainly not for the idea of pirating of software but comments like this are such ********.

Of course it can happen but I doubt it's common.

One of the quickest ways to corrupt an iOS file system so it won't reboot is by placing apps with altered files on your device
And installing the apps on your iDevice to trick iTunes into accepting those apps as legit is a common reason iTunes does not correctly read the device.

The overwhelming majority of the time, simply removing the offending app "fixes" the iTunes issue instantly.
 
I don't for minute think its related to the problem but this one made my chuckle..

I have officially tried everything. I uninstalled every jailbreak app and tweak I have. Also wifi sync will not work on my phone as well. I think it had something to do with downloading bigU movies app as that is the only thing that had changed jailbreak wise other than updating common cydia apps. Has anyone ever encountered such an issue? it's really frustrating not being able to sync to the computer.

Mondo - I think the app that screwed mine up was bigU movies and uninstalling it didn't help. What apps did you install prior to the last time it worked?

It definetly wasn't movie app you said I don't have that
I think it was a fen file or an installuos
Excatly what happened to you!
Luckily can sync wireless and I file to copy some files
How did you fix it I'm going nuts ?

I think it's done stop us from hooking up on so we can't load apps
And force us to loose jailbreak

I tried everything!
Did you uninstall installous then try it?

So weird I have 3 other iPhones
All set up the same way they have no problems
Must be the phones or currupt file
Any other ideas where on I file I could find out where
the charging folder is for computers?

Mine syncs with iTunes wireless
Just won't charge on computer or see it as drive
Or in my computer.
What do you think it is?
 
I got it

My problem is solved it was photo album plus
Once I deleted it because smss where black
When deleted you can't charge from computer
Or sync with wire I have to put it back on to sync
 
Mondo I think we have the same issue then because I also had photo albums plus then I realized it was screwing up my in photos in text messages. Were you able to fix it?

Rtk86 I'm flat we figured it out
I can't erase the app cause it won't charge
I have to erase it when I wanna get a mms picture other wise it won't open
It sucks that app screwed me up!!!
Can charge without it or can't view SMS with it
No win situation I'm waiting for an update!
Meanwhile can't erase it for good sucks
What state are you in?
