configd is having high CPU usage, always

A process named ‘configd’ is showing high CPU usage in Activity Monitor. Due to this, the Macbook is heating up and battery is drained out fast.

I tried 'Force Quit' the process through Activity monitory; things go back to normal for some time. But internet doesn't work :(
